On June 22 (Wednesday), 2020 in the city of Plovdiv was held a one-day workshop with the teachers in the summer Qur’an courses at the local regional mufti’s office. An official guest of the working meeting was the Grand Mufti of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi.

The workshop program was opened with a welcoming address to all 15 imams from the region on behalf of the host, the Regional Mufti of Plovdiv Taner Veli and the official guest from Grand Mufti’s Office Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi. Among the discussed during the meeting topics was that for the significance and the importance of carrying out Qur’an courses during the summer season. The regional coordinator Osman Osman informed the participants about the implementation of the teaching the children in Qur’an this summer, the places where they will be held, the planned program and other important issues. Ekrem Hodzhev from Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv presented to the participants in the workshop the topic “Teaching methodologies in the summer Qur’an courses in 2020”.

The participating in the working meeting imams who are going to be teachers in the local Qur’an courses, had the opportunity to share their ideas and proposal for the more efficient implementation of the training.

The official guest Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi closed the program on the one-day workshop in Plovdiv with a dua (supplication) and best wishes for successful carrying out of the summer Qur’an courses for children on the territory of the entire country.
