For another time Regional Mufti’s Office – Haskovo held a one-day excursion with a cultural program to the city of Çanakkale in the Republic of Turkey. It took place on March 7 (Saturday) this year with the direction of Deniz Rushen – secretary of the mufti’s office in Haskovo. From the opportunity to have a one-day visit to Çanakkale benefited 55 people from Haskovo and the region.

Under the guidance of a local guide the tourist group from Haskovo had the opportunity to visit the Memorial of the Martyrs in Çanakkale, to learn about interesting historical facts as well as to visit other important cultural and religious sites in the region.

The organization of tourist excursions and visits with cultural and religious purpose to the Republic of Turkey has already become a tradition for Regional Mufti’s Office – Haskovo. According to Suray Mustafa – expert from “Waqf” Department at the mufti’s office in Haskovo, the regional institution has planned from the next year these organizations to be larger scaled and to provide an opportunity to participate also to people from other regions in the country.
