An official meeting between the Mufti Murad Boshnak and the Mayor of the Municipality of Cherven bryag Dr. Tsvetan Kostadinov Dimitrov was held on March 9 (Monday), 2020 at the initiative of Regional Mufti’s Office – Pleven. It was organized in order the managements of the two institutions to get to know each other, and Boshnak was accompanied by the Chairman of the Muslim Board of Trustees – Knezha and imam of the town Sabin Hadzhiev, as well as by Anani Asenov – a graduate in a retraining course as a teacher in “Islamic religion”.

Among the discussed during the held meeting issues were the religious situation in Cherven bryag and the implementation of the teaching of the subject “Islamic religion” in the state and municipal schools.

“The meeting was held in the spirit of the kindness, friendship and mutual understanding. We hope that these meetings will continue to be further held as well, being in the future also in benefit of the society” – the secretary of the mufti’s office in Pleven Aygyun Ali commented for Grandmufti.bg.
