Regional Mufti’s Office – Veliko Tarnovo held its first meeting for 2020

Regional Mufti’s Office – Veliko Tarnovo held its first working meeting for 2020 on January 8 (Wednesday). It was attended by the imams of mosques in the scope of the mufti’s office in Tarnovo.

“We made an analysis of the held at the end of 2019 campaign “Orphans’ Week” and with the ideas and the recommendations of the participating imams we also discussed the ways to higher efficiency of the initiative at a local level. The host of the meeting and a Regional Mufti of Veliko Tarnovo Syuleyman Masurev presented a report on the activities of the mufti’s office in Tarnovo for 2019, after which were discussed objectives and ideas for improving the work of Regional Mufti’s Office – Veliko Tarnovo as a whole.” – commented for Grandmufti.bg the secretary Yashar Mehmed.

According to him during the held working meeting the imams were also informed about the opportunity to participate in the one-year training courses for imams which will beginning with the beginning of this calendar year in the training schools in Ustina and Shumen, and there were also discussed issues related to the dissemination of the literature and the printed periodical editions of Grand Mufti’s Office.
