Workshop for practicing imams began in Ruse

On December 21 started a one-week workshop for imams and a host of the event is Religious School “Mirza Seid Pasha” in Ruse. Participants in the workshop are practicing imams from the regional mufti’s offices in Ruse, Razgrad, Silistra, Dobrich, Targovishte, Pleven and Veliko Tarnovo.

“In the framework of the workshop the speakers will emphasize on the good performance of the daily activities of the imams such as adhan, kamet, hitabet, ilyahi and others. We wish the participants success and fruitfully to benefit from the experience and the knowledge of the speakers!” – commented from the management of Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse.

Guests of the opening of the one-week workshop were Halil Hodzhov – Head of “Irshad” Department at Grand Mufti’s Office, and of course, the host – the Regional Mufti of the city of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu and the Director of the Religious School in Ruse Tundzhay Sherif.

In his greeting address Tundzhay Shrif focused on the importance of the Religious School “Mirza Seid Pasha” as an educational institution and its significance in the life of the Muslims in Bulgaria. The Regional Mufti of Ruse also welcomed the participants in the second such workshop, held in the city of Ruse, and in his speech he focused on the importance of the imams in the life of the Muslims. Halil Hodzhov wished the imams to take full advantage of the offered knowledge and experience in the workshop and after that to apply it in their work.
