Mufti’s Office in Plovdiv held a charity bazaar at the square in front of the central mosque in the city

Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv held a charity bazaar in support of the “Orphans’ Week” campaign which took place on December 13 (Friday) this year at “Dzhumayata” square in front of the central mosque in the city under the hills.

“The bazaar started before the Friday prayer and ended after it” – explained for Grandmufti.bg the Regional Mufti of Plovdiv Taner Veli. – “Dozens of casual passengers-by supported the noble initiative and an active part in it also took the representation of “Yeşilay” organization (meaning “Green crescent” from Turkish language), as well as many other Turkish businessmen and representatives of the restaurant and confectionary business in Plovdiv.” – further added Veli.

Official guests of the charity bazaar were representatives of the General Consulate of the Republic of Turkey in Plovdiv.
