Muslim students from Sofia, Plovdiv, Blagoevgrad and Stara Zagora participated in a religious workshop in the capital

Grand Mufti’s Office held another one religious and educational workshop for Muslim youths from universities in the country. This time it was organized in Sofia on December 13, 14 and 15 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), 2019.

“The workshop program was held in parallel at two separate places in Sofia, respectively for the boys and for the girls from the higher educational institutions. The participants numbered about 40 people, and among them there were students from universities in Sofia, Plovdiv, Blagoevgrad and Stara Zagora.” – said for Grandmuftu.bg the expert from “Irshad” Department and a representative of the organizational team Resim Shamatarev.

During the program in which speakers were representatives of Grand Mufti’s Office and lecturers from the Higher Islamic Institute, were addressed a lot of important and current for the youths’ circles topics. They included lectures related to the spirituality and the religious development of personality, academic advance, as well as the preparation of the youths for the family life, their marital obligations and their future as parents.

In order to vary the program with lectures, on Saturday evening for the participants was organized screening of the hit movie “Jumanji”.
