Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi participated in a meeting with imams from Kardzhali region

Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali held a meeting with the imams in the central mosque of the town of Kardzhali on December 2 (Monday) this year. Such events are organized every month by Regioal Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali.

The working meeting was opened and chaired by the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed. He informed all participants about the agenda and expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the spiritual leader of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria is an official guest of the meeting.

In his address to the participants Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi focused mainly on the activities of the imams and called upon everyone to show activeness in dawah (inviting to religion) and to work for the convergence and the union of the Muslims in their settlements, by expanding their work also outside the mosques. During the meeting the floor was given also to the deputy muftis of Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali, as well as to some imams. There were discussed the results of the campaign “Orphans’ Week” which this year was held in the period of November 25 – December 1. An important topic on the agenda was the upcoming subscription for “Muslims” magazine for the next year – 2020 – as well as increasing the knowledge of the imams through the courses for training and retraining in Ustina and Shumen.

The meeting ended with a dua (supplication), made by the highly respected guest, the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi. All imams received gifts – branded takvim (calendars), notebooks and pens of Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali.
