Annual working meeting between the Grand Mufti and imams and members of Muslim boards of trustees was held in Dobrich

Imams and chairmen of Muslim boards of trustees from Regional Mufti’s Office – Dobrich participated in a working meeting held in Dobrich on November 27 (Wednesday), 2019. The meeting was organized by the local mufti’s office and official guests were the Grand Mufti of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi and the Regional Mufti of Silistra Myuddesir Mehmed.

In the discussion held the Regional Mufti of Dobrich Bilyal Dardzhan drew the attention of the participants to the problems which arise in the settlements and to the role of the imam and the Muslim board of trustees in the dynamically changing modern world.  In his speech the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi gave some guidelines for how the imams and the Muslim boards of trustees can handle the challenges which they face every day.

The participants in the meeting also discussed the running of the national campaign “Orphans’ Week” which will last till the end of the current week, and also the organization of the weekly religious lectures in the mosques on the territory of Regional Mufti’s Office – Dobrich during the winter period.
