Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia held its November meeting with imams

Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia held its regular meeting with imams on November 27 (Wednesday), 2019. The meeting took place in the club of the mufti’s office in Studentski grad, and official guests were the Deputy Grand Mufti Murat Pingv and Bahri Izet – expert in “Irshad” Department of Grand Mufti’s Office.

The participants in the working meeting made a detailed analysis of the activities of Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia, their monthly remuneration, as well as carrying out of the Qur’an courses at a local level. A special attention was paid also to the national campaign of the Muslim Denomination “Orphans’ Week”, the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine for 2020, as well as the weekly lectures that are organized in the masjids in the region.

The Deputy Grand Mufti Pingov recalled that each one of the imams has to manifest seriousness, devotion and sincerity in his work. He focused on the importance of the teamwork.

The expert from “Irshad” Department Izet made an analysis of the summer Qur’an courses and focused on the importance of the year-round Qur’an courses and their fruits.

At the end of the meeting the imam of the mosque in the capital Shenol Ismail was officially awarded for the great number of subscriptions for “Muslims” magazine for the present year, which are 85.

The meeting ended with a dua (supplication) for blessing and success in the work.
