Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan presented its activities to the residents of the Municipality of Rudozem. The presentation, made by the Regional Mufti of Smolyan Nedzhmi Dabov, took place on November 21, 2019 in the Cultural House of the town of Rudozem. The aim of the event was to show to the society the most important activities in the administrative, development, educational, social and public field of the mufti’s office in Smolyan. For each of the mentioned fields the regional mufti presented projects implemented over the last ten years and gave some details about their implementation.

The presentation arose interest among a wide range of people, where official guests were the Mayor of the Municipality of Rudozem Rumen Pehlivanov, the Chairman of the Municipal Council Dr. Vladimir Yankov, the deputy mayors Nedko Kulevski and Evelin Bozov, municipal councilors, mayors of town halls, businessmen and public figures. There were also members of the Regional Muslim Council and the administrative team of the mufti’s office, Muslim boards of trustees, as well as imams from the municipality.

“We put the beginning of series of presentations which we are going to organize in the next four months in the municipalities in Smolyan region, and our aim is to inform the society about the activities of the religious institution, which has a history of more than 100 years.” – said in his address to all participants the Mufti of Smolyan Nedzhmi Dabov. He thanked the participants for the shown interest and assured them that the activities of the mufti’s office will continue to be developed and upgraded in the future as well.
