Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan held a workshop on “Challenges in Family Relations”

Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan held a one-day workshop for couples on the topic “Challenges in Family Relations”. It took place on November 16 (Saturday), 2019 in the village of Srednogortsi and 20 Muslim families took part in it.

The workshop was held in four panels, in which the speaker Birali Myumyun, Deputy Grand Mufti of Bulgaria, outlined the profiles and the roles in the family, the ways to achieve the necessary balance between spouses, and also focused on the importance of the social commitments of the family towards the society. The speaker gave starting points through which the families could reconsider and rethink their relations in unintended mistakes in their behavior and gave also specific advices for correcting the mistakes and improving the family relations.

The participants in the one-day event highly appreciated the workshop acknowledging that it met their expectations and mirrored the mistakes in their family life. During the closure of the workshop the Regional Mufti of Smolyan Nedzhmi Dabov thanked for the trust and the courage of the participants in the workshop and urged them to share their productive ideas and recommendations for the promotion of such workshops. The host thanked the team of the Regional Mufti’s Office for the good organization during the event. And last but not least, on behalf of Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan and on behalf of the participants, Dabov thanked the speaker Birali Myumyun for the meaningful workshop. The Deputy Grand Mufti in his turn concluded that he has a sense of completion because in the created positive atmosphere at the workshop he managed to convey the most important messages about overcoming the challenges in the family relations.
