Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse held a working meeting with the local imams

On October 21, 2019 in the mosque “Hadzhi Mehmed” in the city of Ruse took place a working meeting with the imams and the chairmen of the Muslim boards of trustees at Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse. The meeting began with a welcoming address on behalf of the Regional Mufti Yudzhel Hyusnyu and recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Turudu Yıldırım, guest-imam from the Republic of Turkey in the city of Ruse.

The imams were informed about the agenda of the meeting, which included topics such as analysis related to the Muslim population in the settlements and the work of the clerics. The Regional Mufti informed the imams about the upcoming activities, related to “Orphan’s Week”, which will take place between November 25 and December 01, 2019.

During the working meeting were also discusses the recruitment of participants in the one-year training course for imams in the city of Shumen. The imams addressed the topic for the organization of winter religious talks in the settlements, the organization of year-round Qur’an courses and holding programs on the occasion of Mawlid kandili. Besides all that, there was also discussed the topic for the draft budgets of the Muslim boards of trustees for 2020 and other issues related to the administrative and financial part.

The host, the Regional Mufti of Ruse Yuzhel Hyusnyu, thanked the imams for their participation in the meeting and for the good implementation of their official duties.

The meeting was closed with a dua (supplication), made by Turudu Yıldırım – imam in “Hadzhi Mehmed” mosque in the city of Ruse.
