Imams from Aytos region discussed their participation in the campaigns of the Muslim Denomination at the regular October meeting

 

On October 21 (Monday), 2019 Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos held their regular monthly meeting in the mosque with the imams from the region.

The working meeting was opened with a recitation of a part of the Qur’an-i Kerim. The participants were welcomed by the host and a Regional Mufti of Aytos Selyatin Muharem who presented the agenda of the working meeting. The focus in it was the held on a national level “Week of Imams and Mosques” 2019 which will last till the end of this calendar week.

“We discussed the preparation of the Regional Mufti’s Office for the participation in the initiative as well as the preliminary prepared by us schedule with initiatives and various events during the “Week of Imams and Mosques”, which will be held in the different settlements in Aytos region” – said for Grandmufti.bg the Regional Mufti of Aytos Selyatin Muharem. – “In the framework of this initiative of Grand Mufti’s Office the mosques have been visited by groups of students and other interested people from the non-Muslim community in the region.” – further added he.

During the October meeting the imams from Aytos region also discussed the preparation for the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine for 2010, the preliminary preparation for the participation in the national campaign for supporting orphans in November as well as the program for celebrating Mawlid kandili in the region.

On behalf of the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi were awarded several Muslim boards of trustees in the region for their activity during the Campaign in Support of the Islamic Education. Letters of gratitude received the Muslim boards of trustees in the villages of Klikach, Zaychar, Snyagovo and that of the town of Aytos.

The working meeting for October in Aytos was closed with dua (supplication) for fruitful work and prosperity.
