Imams from Sliven gathered at a regular meeting for October

Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven held a regular monthly meeting for October with the participation of the local imams. It took place on October 21 (Monday) this year. Official guest of the working meeting was the Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council Vedat Ahmed.

Among the discussed as priority topics and issues were the held summer Qur’an courses and the results achieved during them. There was also made an overview of the program of the mufti’s office in Sliven for its participation in the national campaign “Week of Imams and Mosques”, which is held within October 21 and 26 with various events and initiatives throughout the country.

The Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council Vedat Ahmed took an active part in the held meeting during which he had the opportunity to answer a number of questions from the imams as well as to advise them on different aspects from their work – how to be better and more active in their work and how important it is to rely on their self-preparation.

The meeting ended with a working lunch, attended by all participants.
