Mufti’s Office in Kardzhali held a regular meeting with the orphaned children from the region

Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali held its another regular meeting with the supported by Grand Mufti’s Office orphaned children from the region on October 12, 2019. The meeting took place on Saturday from 11:00 o’clock and was attended by the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed and the expert from “Waqf” Department at the mufti’s office ein Kardzhali Ilhan Mehmed. After the end of the meeting the hosts had organized the opportunity for the group of the children to participate in the religious program with the participation of the prominent Turkish theologian Prof. Dr. Mustafa Karataş in Momchilgrad.

“Our aim was the children both to meet Prof. Dr. Mustafa Karataş and to listen to his lecture, and to see the facilities of Religious School – Momchilgrad and the opportunity to have their secondary education there.” – said the expert from “Waqf” Department at the mufti’s office in Kardzhali Ilhan Mehmed.

In the beginning Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali began with monthly financial assistance for 11-12 children, and at the present moment their number is 21 and the trend is to increase their number. The regional Muslim institution tries to hold a meeting with the supported orphans from the region at least once every 3-4 months.

“Taking into consideration that the biggest problem of the adolescents nowadays is exactly the good behavior, the respect for the elders and the religious education, the Mufti focuses in every meeting with the children on exactly these important issues.” – also shared the expert from “Waqf” Department at Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali Ilhan Mehmed.
