Regional Mufti’s Office – Pleven held its regular monthly meeting with the imams

Regional Mufti’s Office – Pleven held a regular monthly meeting with the imams from the region on September 11 (Wednesday) 2019.

The host of the working meeting and a Regional Mufti of Pleven Murad Boshnak welcomed the participants in the meeting and then informed them about the agenda. Official guests of the working meeting were the Grand Mufti of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi and his deputy Birali Myumyun Birali.

Within the meeting an analysis of the summer Qur’an courses in the region, which are traditionally held during the summer school holiday every year, was made. Over the past months of July and August 100 children in total from the region participated in the Qur’an courses, it was reported at the meeting. The imams and the rest of the participants in the working meeting also made an overview of the religious situation at the moment in the region of Pleven, and discussed important and current topics and issues.

The working meeting ended with a dua (supplication) for health, blessing and fruitful work.
