Regional Muslim Council – Razgrad held its third meeting for the year

The third for the year meeting of Regional Muslims Council – Razgrad was held on August 5 (Monday) this year from 10:00 o’clock. It took place at the premises of the Regional Mufti’s Office in the town.

The meeting began with recitation of verses from the Qur’an-i Kerim by Elman Elimanov. The Chairman of the Regional Muslim Council – Razgrad and a Regional Mufti of the town Mehmed Alya welcomed the participants in the meeting and presented to them the agenda which was preliminary prepared and sent to the members. It included discussion on the preparation for the upcoming Eid al-Adha, in connection with which by the end of the week there will be organized three meetings with the imams from the region.

The members also discussed the implementation of this year’s summer Qur’an courses. In connection with this were also discussed various organizational issues related to carrying out a regional competition in basic knowledge in Islam. The regional coordinator of the summer Qur’an courses Hamdi Nezir delivered a comprehensive report for the number and the participants in the summer Qur’an courses. The topic related to recruitment of candidates for the Tashih-i-Huruf course, which is also organized by Grand Mufti’s Office and is going to begin on October 15 was also addressed.

Within the meeting a report on the held during the month of Ramadan this year “National Campaign to Support the Islamic Education” was delivered.

During the meeting there were discussed also other organizational issues related to the work of the Regional Mufti’s Office and the Muslim boards of trustees.

The meeting held was closed with a dua (supplication), made by Sunay Zyulkyar, and with best wishes for easy and full with blessings month of Dhu'l-Hijjah and the feast of Eid al-Adha.
