Working meeting with the heads of the summer Qur’an courses at Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse

A working meeting with the imams who are teachers in the summer Qur’an courses in the scope of Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse was held on July 31, 2019 under the leadership of the Regional Mufti of the city of Ruse.

At the beginning the working meeting was opened with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by the guest-imam from the Republic of Turkey Turudu Yıldırım.

The Regional Mufti Yudzhel Hyusnyu welcomed all participants and delivered a brief speech regarding the importance of the summer Qur’an courses, and also gave an instruction related to their good implementation. Then the coordinator N. Nedzhmiev delivered a brief report on the status of the summer Qur’an courses in the region during the last one month. In his report he focused on the number of the Qur’an courses where an increase is seen, saying the following:

“I am from the team of Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse, I began as an employee in 2016, right after the election of the Regional Mufti Yudzhel Hyusnyu. In 2016 there were summer Qur’an courses in 9 settlements, in 2017 they became 11. A year later, in 2018 – 13 and in 2019 there are summer Qur’an courses at 19 places, and the total number of the students in them is more than 200. There still are many shortcomings, but there also are very good achievements, which in a certain moment we cannot realize but with the time these results became visible.”

During the meeting each of the participants who heads a Qur’an course had the opportunity to speak.

At the end of the working meeting the Regional Mufti Hyusnyu expressed his gratitude to the teachers in the summer Qur’an courses for understanding the importance of this initiative. Before parting a dua (supplication) was made for fruitful conduct of the summer Qur’an courses and for prosperity.
