Team from the Embassy of Germany in Bulgaria visited the Mufti’s Office in Kardzhali 

A delegation from the Embassy of Federal Republic of Germany in Sofia visited Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali on July 30 (Tuesday) this year. The delegation was led by the interim head of the Embassy and also a head of its political department York Schuegraf.

Due to the absence of the Mufti of Kardzhali, who is in Saudi Arabia as a representative of the organizational team in Hajj 2019, the guests were welcomed by his deputies Erhan Redzheb and Nasuf Nasuf.

The hosts got the high-ranking guests acquainted with the work of Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali and the focus was on the current social campaigns of Grand Mufti’s Office. The two parties discussed the topic about the religious education of the imams in Bulgaria and the need of accreditation of the High Islamic Institute in Sofia.

The visit on behalf of Schuegraf and his team to Regional Mufti’s Office –Kardzhali was within their official visit to Kardzhali, where they held meetings with representatives of the Regional Administration, as well as with heads of local political factions.
