Grand Mufti’s Office held another workshop with the coordinators of the summer Qur’an courses in Southern Bulgaria
After the workshop for the coordinators of the summer Qur’an courses in Northern Bulgaria which was held the previous week, “Irshad” Department of Grand Mufti’s Office organized a workshop meeting for their colleagues from Southern Bulgaria as well.
The meeting took place on July 29 (Monday) this year at the Training school for imams in the village of Ustina, Plovdiv region. Twelve imams from ten regional mufti’s offices in total on the territory of Southern Bulgaria participated in it. Official guests were the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, the Regional Mufti of Plovdiv Taner Veli, as well as the Director of the Training school for imams in Ustina Selim Mehmed. “Irshad” Department was presented by the head of the department Halil Hodzhov and the expert Bahri Izet.
The agenda of the held meeting included discussions related to the current status of the summer Qur’an courses in the southern part of the country. The coordinators addressed important topics in terms of increasing the quality of training, establishing new groups at the existing courses, as well as initiating of new courses in settlements where there have not been such so far.
Within his address the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi focused on the importance of the summer Qur’an courses in the entire country and their significance for the future of the younger generation in the Muslim community.
At the end of the held meeting the religious leader of the Muslims in Bulgaria made a dua (supplication) for success and prosperity in the work “Irshad” Department in terms of the summer Qur’an courses.
