Workshop for the coordinators of the summer Qur’an courses in North Bulgaria was held in Shumen
The coordinators of the summer Qur’an courses which are going to be held at the regional mufti’s offices on the territory of North Bulgaria gathered at a one-day workshop in the city of Shumen. It took place on June 20 (Thursday) this year and was hosted by Regional Mufti’s Office –Shumen.
Twelve coordinators in total took part in the meeting. Official guest of the workshop was the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov.
The workshop was held in two panels. Speaker during the first part of the meeting was Bahri Izet – expert at “Irshad” Department at Grand Mufti’s Office and chief coordinator of the summer Qur’an courses for the entire country.
“We addressed important topics related to the motivation of the teachers in the courses as well as some aspects for increasing the quality as well as the number of the summer Qur’an courses.” – said for Grandmufti.bg Bahri Izet.
During the second part of the meeting each of the participating coordinators shared his plans about the implementation of this year’s summer Qur’an courses, as well as where and how many courses are expected to take place.
According to Bahri Izet from “Irshad” Department” one of the main objectives of the Department regarding the implementation of the summer Qur’an courses for the current year is their number to be greater than those of the previous year. Furthermore main priority is to establish groups for Qur’an in settlements in the country where summer Qur’an course have not been held so far.
