Grand Mufti met with a delegation from Iraq

Representatives of the Iraqi Parliament and members of the Supreme Committee on Human Rights of Iraq visited Grand Mufti’s Office on July 18 within their working visit to Bulgaria, where they were welcome by the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi. The meeting was held in a friendly spirit. The members of the Iraqi delegation expressed their satisfaction with the visit to Grand Mufti’s Office and the meeting with the Grand Mufti.

In the framework of the visit to Bulgaria a Memorandum of cooperation between the Supreme Commission on Human Rights in Iraq and the Commission for Protection against Discrimination was concluded.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Al Kinali - member of the Commission on Human Rights in Iraq at the Iraqi Parliament, Mr. Ali Al Jarala - Vice President of the Supreme Commission on Human Rights, Mr. Ali Al Bayati - member of the Commission on Human Rights in Iraq and Head of the Committee for Prevention of Discrimination, Mr. Mohamad Al Zuabidi - member of the Commission on Human Rights in Iraq, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ana Dzhumalieva - Chairperson of the Commission for Protection against Discrimination, and Mr. Baki Hyuseinov - Deputy Chairperson of the Commission.
