Children from the village of Golemantsi prepared a festive program
The children from the Qur’an courses in several villages in Haskovo region organized a festive program under the guidance of their teacher Myuzeyyen Mustafa. The event took place on May 29 (Wednesday) this year in the village of Golemantsi.
This was the first of its kind festive celebration on the occasion of the month of Ramadan in the village of Golemantsi, Haskovo region. It took place with the active participation of Myuzeyyen Mustafa – vaiz (preacher) at Regional Mufti’s Office – Haskovo and a teacher in the Qur’an courses in the villages of Golemantsi, Voyvodovo and Kozlets. 25 children in total from the courses in these villages took part in the program. They had prepared recitals and presented scenes from the life of the Prophet (pbuh), as well as performances of religious songs (ilyahi) and others.
“The aim of the program which we prepared, was to recall the atmosphere of the month of Ramadan from the recent past – to remind “the old” Ramadan days when people gathered together for suhoor (pre-dawn meal) and for iftar (breaking the fast). When there prevailed a very cheerful atmosphere during this sacred month.” – told for Grandmufti.bg the teacher Myuzeyyen Mustafa.
Among the official guests of the celebration in the village of Golemantsi were the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov , the Secretary General of the Muslim Denomination Dzhelal Faik, the Head of the Administrative Department at Grand Mufti’s Office Beyhan Mehmed, who is also a chairman of the Bulgarian Association of the Graduates with Higher Islamic Education (BAGHIE). Among the participants was also Dr. Selime Hasanova – a lecturer at the High Islamic Institute, as well as the team of the hosts from Regional Mufti’s Office – Haskovo, led by the Mufti Basri Eminefendi. The event was also attended by official guests from the city of Edirne in Turkey, among whom the supplicator Nuri Böcekbakan
At the initiative of the residents of the Muslim community in Haskovo and the surrounding villages during the festive event in Golemantsi was also held a charity bazaar. The benefactors succeeded to raise the amount of 210.00 BGN which will be granted in favor of BAGHIE.
The program was closed with a general dua (supplication) made by Nuri Böcekbakan from the city of Edirne.
