Charity bazaar to support Islamic education is organized by the children in Ribnovo
The children from the two year-round Qur’an courses in the village of Ribnovo are organizing a charity bazaar on May 31, 2019, under the guidance of their two teachers Fatme Kiyoibashi and Fikrie Avdikova. It is part of the national campaign of Grand Mufti’s Office to support the Islamic Education in Bulgaria which is organized already for another consecutive year during the sacred month of Ramadan.
“The charity bazaar takes place at the yard of the new mosque in the village of Ribnovo and will continue during the entire day today, Friday, at the very eve of the Laylat al-Qadr. (the Night of Rower)” – said for Grandmufti.bg the Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad Aydan Mohamed who personally attended the initiative earlier today.
The children from the two Qur’an courses, which are more than 200, are selling charitably at the bazaar homemade food, sweets, home accessories, handmade artworks personally elaborated by them, and many other things.
The Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad Aydan Mohamed recalled that the village of Ribnovo has always been in the top three in raising funds in various social and charity campaigns and initiatives of the Muslim Denomination. He urged all people who are near Ribnovo or who have the possibility, to join the initiative of the young Muslims from the two Qur’an courses. Because, as the children themselves have written on one of the posters, which decorates today the yard of the new mosque in their home village…”The hand that gives does not taste poverty.”
