Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi participated in an international conference in Makkah

The Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi and other two representatives of Grand Mufti’s Office of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria went to an international conference in Makkah.

The Mufti, accompanied by the Head of “Irshad” DepartmentHalil Hodzhov and hafiz Bayram Ushev, a teacher at the training school for hafizes in Madan, have been in Makkah for two days on the occasion of the 4-day international conference aimed at moderation in Islam. The event is organized by the World Muslim League – an international nongovernmental Islamic organization headquartered in Makkah, and was officially opened on May 27 (Monday).

The International Conference in Saudi Arabia bring together at one place Muslim clerics, intellectuals, researchers and representatives of the Muslim community from all over the world. 1200 Muslims in total from 139 countries around the world have been attending the conference in Makkah since Monday.

Within several days they will discuss topics such as “Moderation in Islamic History and Jurisprudence Heritage”, “Islam between Authenticity and Modernity”, “Practical Programs to Promote Moderation among Youth.” The participants in the international event will have the opportunity to discuss topics related to religious pluralism and the common values in contemporary international relations.
