Mufti’s Office in Shumen held a regular meeting with imams

Regional Mufti’s office – Shumen held a regular working meeting with the imams from the region on May 23, 2019. The meeting took place at the meeting hall of the mufti’s office in Shumen, and was attended by all imams from the region.

The working meeting was opened with recitation of Qur’an-i Kerim by the guest-imam from the Republic of Turkey Musa Kai. Then the participants were welcomed by the host of the event Mesut Mehmedov – Regional Mufti of the city of Shumen.

Within the meeting were addressed several topics among which the activities during the present month of Ramadan, the current campaign of Grand Mufti’s Office of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria to support the Islamic education, as well as the preparation for celebrating Eid al-Fitr.

The meeting was closed with a general dua.
