The Regional Mufti of Varna – official guest at a festive iftar-dinner in the village of Medovets

A Ramadan iftar-dinner for nearly 200 people was organized by the government office of the village of Medovets (Municipality of Obitel) on May 21 (Tuesday) this year.

Among the officially invited guests at the event were the Interim Regional Mufti of Varna Nuray Shukri, the guest-imams from the Republic of Turkey Bilyal Arslan and Hussein Kacar as well as the Secretary of the mufti’s office in Varna Fahredin Mollamehmed.

The representatives of the Regional Mufti’s Office in the maritime capital had prepared a short religious program. The Mufti Nuray Shukri welcomed all guests and highlighted the importance of the fact that the local people spend their time for performing the religious acts of worship, tarawih prayer and not leaving the mosque of the village empty.

The program included also a thematic religious talk dedicated to the month of Ramadan. The participants had the opportunity to ask their questions related to the topic. The guests from Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna read Qur’an and at the end the program was closed with a dua (supplication).
