New book about Dhoo’l-Qarnayn (a.s.) and the tribe of Yajuj and Majuj published Grand Mufti’s Office
Publishing Department at Grand Mufti’s Office published a new book about Dhoo’l-Qarnayn (a.s.) and the tribe of Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog).
In his first book the author Sevgin Karani addresses the mysterious personality of Dhoo’l-Qarnayn (the owner of the two horns), who is among the personalities mentioned in the Qur’an, about whom it is disputed if they were the messengers or not.
Furthermore the author discusses in details the tribe of Yajuj and Majuj about whose people it is told to had been closed by him behind a lead wall and which will appear again as a sign of the Last Hour.
“In the Holy Qur’an, in the Islamic narrations (hadith), in the history of Islam it is mentioned and told about Dhoo’l-Qarnayn (a.s.). But in the modern history and archeology he is mentioned neither by name, nor as a ruler, nor as a spiritual leader, nor even as a historical person which we know from the history. So we face questions such as: “Which historical personality is Dhoo’l-Qarnayn (a.s.)? When did he live? Where is the lead wall which he built against the tribe of Yajuj and Majuj?” etc.
The book can be ordered from the bookstores of Grand Mufti’s Office and from the regional mufti’s offices in the country. Furthermore you can order it also at Publishing Department at Grand Mufti’s Office.
