Mufti’s Office in Varna organized iftar-dinner in the village of Belogradets

On May 20 (Monday), this year, Regional Mufti’s Office - Varna gave an iftar-dinner in the village of Belogradets (Municipality of Vetrino). The Ramadan dinner took place with the financial support of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

The iftar brought together nearly 200 Muslims and official guests among them were the Regional Mufti of Dobrich Bilyal Dardzhan, the guest-imams from the Republic of Turkey at Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna Bilyal Arslan and Hüseyin Kaçar, as well as the long-term seconded imam from Turkey Ömer Özyer.

“For all participants was prepared a short thematic program which included a welcoming speech on behalf of the host of the event – the interim Regional Mufti of Varna Nury Shukri, religious songs (ilyahi), religious talk dedicated to the month of Ramadan, as well as a reminder about the on-going campaign of Grand Mufti’s Office to support the Islamic education in Bulgaria” – said after the event the Secretary of Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna Fahredin Mollamehmed for Granmufti.bg.

After the Ramadan dinner all guests performed tarawih prayer in the mosque of the village of Belogradets.
