“Hajj” Department started the preparatory workshops for this year’s Hajj-candidates
Almost two months before the time for implementation Hajj 2019 “Hajj” Department of Grand Mufti’s office began to carry out the preparatory workshops for all Muslims from the country and from the Republic of Turkey who applied to perform the pilgrimage this year.
The first one of the series of preparatory workshops took place in May 17 (Friday) this year in the village of Ribnovo, Blagoevgrad region. The informational meeting was attended by 20 Hajj-candidates from the settlements in the scope of Regional Mufti’s Office - Blagoevgrad. Official guests were the Head of “Hajj” Department at Grand Mufti’s Office Dzhemal Isa, the Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad Aydan Mohamed, the imam of the village of Lazhnitsa Muhammed Kamber, as well as Osman Kutrev – expert at “Irshad” Department at the mufti’s office in Blagoevrad.
The future pilgrims were informed about the essence of the pilgrimage of Hajj as well as with all details about the implementation of this important act of worship. The participants had the opportunity also to ask the organizers their questions.
“It is expected that the group of Hajj pilgrims of Grand Mufti’s Office from Bulgaria will travel to the Holy Lands in the beginning of August. The stay there will be 30 days, 21 of which are foreseen to be in Macca and 9 in Medina” – explained for Grandmufti.bg the Head of “Hajj” Department at Grand Mufti’s Office Dzhemal Isa. He also added that preparatory workshops are foreseen to be held on the territory of all regional mufti’s offices in the country, where there are Muslims who applied to perform the pilgrimage of Hajj 2019. Informational workshops will be held during the coming months also in the Republic of Turkey for our compatriots abroad, who will perform the pilgrimage of Hajj with the organization of Grand Mufti’s Office.
