Grand Mufti’s Office organizes pilgrimage of Umrah

1. The flights to Mecca are planned to be from the airport in Istanbul.

2. Two-weeks stay in Saudi Arabia.

3. The pilgrims are accommodated in a hotel - 4 people in a room. If there is a wish one room can be occupied by fewer people after additional charge.

4. The holy pilgrimage, the stay in Mecca and Medina, the performance of the rituals will be done under the guidance of experienced staff.

5. During their stay in Mecca and Medina the pilgrims will be provided with breakfast and dinner.

6. Visits to historical sites in Mecca and Medina are foreseen.

7. The total amount of 1250 euro includes the following services: transport from Bulgaria to Istanbul and from there to the Holy lands and back, transport from Mecca, Medina and Jeddah, accommodation in a hotel, meals, visas and fees.

8. The accommodation in Medina will be near Al-Masjid al-Nabawi

Required documents for visa obtaining:

1. Standard form/contract which shall be filled out by the candidates for the pilgrimage of Umrah.

2. A passport with at least 6 months validity.

3. Two photos on a white background for documents.

4. Vaccination against meningitis and flu.

5. Women under the age of 45 can travel with companions men – close relatives.

6. To hold Bulgarian citizenship or a document for residence.

7. Cash or bank document from the Grand Mufti’s Office or a Regional Mufti’s Office for the payment of the required amount for the organization of the Umrah

The documents for participation shall be submitted to the Grand Mufti’s Office or to the regional mufti’s offices.

The trip will take place around 15^th of March.
