Third edition of the series of workshops “The Active Imam” was held in the village of Bilka

Within the period February 22 – 24, 2019 (Municipality of Ruen) took place the third consecutive edition of the workshop for imams entitled “The Active Imam). It was organized by “Irshad” Department of Grand mufti’s Office and host of the event was Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos.

35 participants in total from different regions had the opportunity to participate in a specialized training the aim of which was to analyze the daily problems which the imams in Bulgaria face, and to outline steps and possibilities for solving them.

Besides Prof. Dr. Ali Arslan – a psychologist and lecturer at the University of Sakarya, in the workshop participated also the Grand Mufti of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov and the host Selyatin Muharem – Regional Mufti of Aytos.
