A group of students from a school in Razgrad visited the “Ahmed Bey” mosque in the town
Students from 5th grade at Primary School “I.S.Turgenev” in the town of Razgrad with a homeroom teacher Sevdalina Petkova visited the “Ahmed Bey” mosque in the town on February 25, 2019.
The visit to the Muslim religious temple was implemented within a project “Getting to know the religious holidays in religions”.
The Regional Mufti of Razgrad Mehmed Alya told the fifth-graders about the history of the Muslim temple, related to its construction and the details in the interior. He informed the children about the different ornaments and the meaning of each of them.
The students from fifth grade at PS “I.S. Turgenev” – the town of Razgrad listened with interest to the presented by the imams of the mosque Shakir Ahmedchikov information for the designation of the mosque in Islam, bout the various holidays of the Muslims and for the religion as a whole.
