Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Birali was official guest of a meeting of Regional Mufti’s Office – Montana

On February 21 (Thursday), 2019 Regional Mufti’s Office – Montana held a meeting with the imams and the representatives of the Muslim boards of trustees in the region.

Official guest of the working meeting, which took place at the “Osman Pazvatoglu” mosque in the town of Vidin, was Birali Birali – Deputy Grand Mufti.

The meeting was opened with recitation of Qur’an-i Kerim. The Regional Mufti of Montana and host of the event Nedzhati Ali welcomed the participants and the guests and informed them about the agenda. He presented and analyzed the work of the regional mufti’s office for January and February. There were also discussed issues related to the recruitment of candidates to participate in the training courses for imams in the villages of Ustina and Gorsko Slivovo, as well as to the winter religious talks (sohbet).

The official guest Birali Myumyun Birali informed the participants about the voted amendments to the Law on the Religious Denominations. During his speech he also focused on the importance and the role of the imam in the Islamic religion. At the end of the meeting the participants had the opportunity to ask their questions.
