Teachers from the year-round Qur’an courses in the country gathered at a workshop in Momchilgrad

Nearly 20 women who are teachers in the year-round Qur’an courses at the regional mufti’s offices in the country and 15 more volunteers gathered at a religious workshop, organized by “Irshad” Department of Grand Mufti’s Office. It took place within the period of December 24 – 29, 2018 at the training base of the Religious School in the town of Momchilgrad.

The lectures during the 5-day workshop were led by Nevin Yulper and Rukie Gam – teachers at the year-round course for memorization of the Qur’an for women in the city of Bolu, Turkey.

During the event it was visited by the Grand Mufti of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, accompanied by Hüseyin Ergani – Consul General of the Republic of Turkey to Bulgaria, the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Beyhan Mehmed and others.

As a sign of gratitude to the teachers in the year-round Qur’an courses in the entire country for their efforts and diligence in their work they were officially given plaques of gratitude on behalf of the Muslim Denomination in Bulgaria.
