Three guest-imams from Turkey were lecturers of a workshop for “Melodic reading of the Holy Qur’an and adhan”

During the period of December 23 - 27, 2018 Grand Mufti’s Office of the Republic of Bulgaria held a workshop on ““Melodic reading of the Holy Qur’an and adhan” in cooperation with Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse. Host of the event was Religious School “Mirza Seid pasha” – Ruse.

The team of the lecturers in the workshop included three guest-imams from neighboring Turkey, who are interim imams in three regional mufti’s offices in northern Bulgaria. They are Ibrahim Topuz – guest-imam at Regional Mufti’s Office – Razgrad, Musa Kii – guest-imam at Regional Mufti’s Office – Shumen, and Selyami Ilhan – guest-imam at Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven.

The aim of this workshop and of the workshop which took place at the same time and on the same topic in Momchilgrad (for the imams from Southern Bulgaria), was to further develop the expertise of the clerics who work in the Muslim Denomination in favor of the Islamic community in our country.
