Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna held a working meeting with imams

A working meeting with the imams from the region of Varna was held on November 22, 2018 (Thursday). The meeting was opened with reciting of “Ashr-i Sherif” by hafiz Yumerali Özer – guest imam of the central mosque “Aziziye”.

The interim Regional Mufti Nuray Shukri welcomed all participants in the meeting and presented the agenda. First on the agenda of the working meeting was discussed the implementation of the upcoming campaign “Orphans’ Week” for which all participating imams were given posters, fliers, postcards, cash-boxes and magnets. Currently four children are supported by the campaign through Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna. Among the addressed topics were the year-round Qur’an courses and the winter sohbets (religious talks). Another topic was the preparation for the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine for year 2019. The imams received the Muslim calendars for 2019 as they are disseminated every year in the relevant settlements. Nuray Shukri thanked all participants and wished them beneficial work.
