Donations for the repair of the mosque in the village of Fargovo are raised

Fargovo is a village in the Western Rhodopes, Municipality of Satovcha, Blagoevgrad reigon. It has entirely Muslim population – about 500 residents, and has one mosque. The only so far Muslim temple in the village needs an urgent repair and the repair works have already been started.

“We began with formwork in order to raise the level a little. The next to be done is an extension of the women’s area in the mosque because now it is small and not enough. The repair foresees also entire replacement of the roof” – shared for Grandmufti.bg the imam of the village of Fargovo Sefer Bayraktarov.

According to the imam the implementation of the already began repair of the mosque in the village in Satovcha region relies entirely on the donations of benefactors.
