Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi attended the awarding of diplomas (ijazah) ceremony for hafizes in Edirne
An awarding of diplomas ceremony for completed training in Qur’an memorization, the so called ijazah, took placeon September 21, 2018 (Friday) in the Selimiye Mosque in the Turkish city of Edirne
The program was organized by the Provincial Mufti’s Office of Edirne and the President of the Religious Affairs of the Republic of Turkey participated as an official guest in it.
Among the guests were also representatives of the Muslim Denomination in the Republic of Bulgaria. The Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi was among the Bulgarian guests who attended the event. He was accompanied by the Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council Vedat Ahmed, as well as by regional muftis from the country.
Presenterof the official program was Mustafa Demirkan – Vice Chairman of the Association of the Qur’an Reciters in Turkey. In his address to all guests and participants in the festive program the Provincial Mufti of Edirne Emrullah Üzüm said that one of the aims of the mufti’s office is to have one hafiz in each house in the future.
