Children from the summer Qur’an courses in Haskovo region were on a trip to Turkey

The students from this year’s summer Qur’an courses, which took place in the territory of Regional Mufti’s Office – Haskovo in July and August, were on a one-day excursion to the city of Edirne, Turkey. It took place on September 23 (Sunday) and was organized by Regional Mufti’s Office – Haskovo with the kind assistance of the Provincial Mufti of the city of Edirne in Turkey Emrullah Üzüm and the Provincial Governor of Edirne.

In the excursion participated 54 children in total, who took part in the summer Qur’an courses in different settlements in Haskovo region. They were accompanied by the guest-imam from the Republic of Turkey Hasan Cerrah, as well as by several teachers from the Qur’an courses. The group from Bulgaria was welcomed in Turkey by the imam of “Eski mosque” in Edirne Süleyman Keskin, and the excursionists had the opportunity to visit all major sites in the Turkish city.

The children remained very pleased with the one-day trip to Turkey and the memories from it will be kept for a long time.
