A work meeting with the imams from Varna was held in August

On 15^th of August this year the Regional Mufti’s Office - Varna held a work meeting with the imams from the region. The interim regional mufti Nuray Shukri opened the meeting with welcome speeches, after which the imam of Ezerovo village Tundzhay Myumyun read Ashr-i Sherif. The regional mufti of Dobrich Bilyal Dardzhan was a guest at the meeting.

The meeting continued with a presentation and discussing the agenda topics. These included the The National Campaign "Islamic Education Support Month" and with regard to this the regional mufti asked the imams to be more active during the campaign next year. One of the topics discussed was Eid ul-Adha, as well as the campaign "Let's Share our Qurban”. The imams analyzed the summer Qur’ran courses in the different settlements, as well as they discussed the upcoming regional contest in Basic Knowledge on Islam.  The interim regional mufti of Varna emphasized the topic about recruiting students for the three religious schools in Bulgaria and the Higher Islamic Institute - Sofia.

The meeting was closed with a wish for a successful work for the team of the Varna Mufti's Office, and with a du’a for barakah and prosperity.
