A June meeting with imams form Kardzhali region was held

A meeting with imams from the region took place on June 11, 2018 in the town of Kardzhali.

The meeting was opened with reciting of Ashr-i-Sherif by the guest imam from the Republic of Turkey Sadullah Çalışkan. The event was attended by the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehemd and hisdeputies Nasuf Halil and Erhan Redzheb.

The Regional Mufti informed the imams about the agenda of the meeting. The most important among them were about the annual Campaign in Support of the Islamic Education, the summer Qur’an courses during 2018, the campaign for distribution of humanitarian packages during the month of Ramadan, organized iftar dinners in the settlements, campaigns for recruitment of students for the Religious School in Momchilgrad and for the High Islamic Institute in the city of Sofia.

The Regional Mufti gave also information about the conditions for application for the “Hodzhazade Mehmed Muhiydin Efendi” awards of Grand Mufti’s Office, as well as about the National Competition in Artistic Recitation of the Qur’an for Hafizes, which will take place in the town of Madan. There were also discussed the results of the “Hajj” campaign in the region.

At the end of the meeting the Regional Mufti presented also religious books, editions of Regional Mufti’ Office – Kardzhali. The meeting ended with a dua (supplication) for health, peace and welfare.
