Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali marked Laylat al-Qadr with a festive program in Diamandovo

Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali with the assistance of the Muslim Board of Trustees – Byal Izvor, Diamandovo quarter, organized a festive program on the occasion of the sacred Laylat al-Qadr.     

The event brought together hundreds of Muslims form the surroundings. The program included iftar dinner, lectures and religious talks in the mosque of the village. The event began with a solemn speech on behalf of the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed. He was together with the Deputy Mufti Erhan Redzheb.

Official guests of the program were the Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Sofia, the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Plovdiv Hüseyin Ergani, the Religious Affairs Advisor at the Embassy of Turkey Prof. Dr. Ulvi Ata, as well as the Religious affairs attaché Metin Albaş. The event was also attended by the Mayor of the Municipality of Ardino Resmi Murad, by the Chairman of the Municipal Council in the town of Ardino , as well as other representatives of the municipal administration in Ardino.

Greeting addresses were also delivered by the Deputy Ambassador and the consul General of Turkey, as well as the Mayor of the Municipality of Ardino. 

The guests of the iftar had the opportunity to listen to lectures on Laylat al-Qadr delivered by the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed and Prof. Dr. Ulvi Ata.
