The Muslims form the village of Streltsi performed prayer for rain

A prayer for rain (Salat Al-Istisqa') took place in the village of Streltsi, which is in the scope of Regional Mufti’s Office - Sliven. It was organized by Regional Mufti’s Office – Streltsi and was held on May 12 (Saturday) this year.

The event was attended by more than 200 Muslims from the village and from the nearby settlements. Among the official guests of the prayer was the Regional Mufti of Sliven Akif Akifov, accompanied by his colleagues from the mufti’s office in Sliven.

The program in the village of Streltsi included reading Qur’an-i Kerim, vaaz (preach) delivered by the Regional Mufti Akifov, as well as the group prayer for rain which was the focus of the event.

The hosts from the Muslim Board of Trustees of the village of Streltsi had prepared meals for all guests of the held prayer for rain with which it officially ended.
