Hundreds of Muslims celebrated together the Bara'a night in Plovdiv

Nearly 300 Muslims from Plovdiv and the surrounding settlements gathered in the central mosque “Murat Hudavendigyar”, in order to mark together the blessed Bara'a night on Monday evening.

The festive program on the occasion of the Bara'a night in the month of Sha'ban included welcoming address to all guests made by the Regional Mufti of Plovdiv Taner Veli. He informed the participants about the specifics and the importance of this night for the Muslims. The program also included reading of Qur’an and Mawlid.

Among the hundreds of guests who came in the central mosque in Plovdiv on Monday evening was the Director of the Training school for imams in the village of Ustina Selim Mehmed, who was accompanied by the team of the teachers and the group of the current participants in the course.
