Writers from Turkey visited Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali
Nearly 40 representatives of the Turkish Authors' Association visited Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali on May 1, 2018.
The guests were welcomed by the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed and by the team of the mufti’s office in Kardzhali. The visit of the Turkish writers to Bulgaria and in particular in the town of Kardzhali is on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Association. It is a part of the tourist program including a tour in a number of cities and countries on the Balkan Peninsula.
During the meeting the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali informed the guests about the religious life of the Muslims in the region and with the main directions of the activities of the mufti’s office and of the Muslim Denomination as a whole. At the end of the visit all participants received gifts as keepsakes from their visit in Kardzhali: books - editions of Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali, as well as promotion notebooks and pens.
