Fourth international orphans’ meeting was held in Istanbul

The International Organization İHHand the Istanbul Sultangazi Municipality in the Republic of Turkey hosted the fourth international orphans’ meeting within the period April 19 – 24, which was attended by children from 12 countries.

Ten children from Bulgaria together with their leaders Gyulfie Akif and Sevinch Emin also participated in the meeting in Istanbul.

The official welcoming took place on April 20 where white doves and colorful balloons were released in the sky as a symbol of peace, innocence and happiness. Then the group visited the biggest aquarium in Turkey “Aqualand”. And on April 21 they altogether enjoyed at “Vialand” Amusement Park.

The program also included an event in which the participants from each of the countries planted a tree. The children spent unforgettable moments with their friends from the other countries.

During their stay in Istanbul the children had the opportunity to see the historical and cultural sights of the metropolis, to have a boat trip along the Bosphorous and to celebrate the Children’s Day which in Turkey is on April 23.
