Workshop meeting for the students from the three religious schools

A three-day workshop for the students from the religious schools was held within the period April 2^nd- 4^th in Sofia.

Every year the Department of Education at Grand Mufti’s Office organizes a workshop – excursion for the students from the three religious schools. The students come to Sofia in order to get to know the institution of Grand Mufti’s Office and its staff, to visit the sights in Sofia, the Presidency, and the National Assembly.

“We would like these visits to enrich the general culture of the students and to build self-confidence in them. We hope that the days, spent in the capital will be useful and remembered with a nice feelings.” shared the expert at the Department of Education Nazmie Kulova.

The students were welcomed by the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Birali after which the lecturer from the HII Dr. Sefer Hasanov spoke on the topic “Faith-enhancing factors”.

 “The person is valuable to Allah with is faith (his iman). And the iman is fed by good deeds”, said Dr. Hasanov.

The students also met with Hyusein Karamolla – Head of the Department of Education at Grand Mufti’s Office and the Regional Mufti of Sofia Mustafa Izbishtali, with whom they held a discussion in the mosque in Sofia “Banya Bashi”.

The second day of the workshop continued with visits to Grand Mufti’ Office were the students were acknowledged with the activities of the institution and met with the SMC Chairman Vedat Ahmed. Then all of them had the opportunity to visit the Presidency and to meet with the President Rumen Radev, after which visited also the National Assembly.

And during the last day of the workshop the students visited the High Islamic Institute.

The program was varied with different cultural and entertaining events.
