Statement on behalf of the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi on the occasion of the coming of the night of Regaib
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,
Dear Muslim brothers and sisters,
We are in a night which is called Regaib. The word “regaib” originates from the Arabic word “ragbah” – desire.
During this night it is good to turn to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) and to share with Him all our desires.
To make itso that when we want from Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), to be confident in ourselves, to know what we want and to be convinced that Allah will give it to us.
The Mercy of Allah exceeds our imagination and exceeds our desires.
That is why whatever we ask from Allah, He is able to give it to us. But we need to turn to Him with a pure heart, with a sincere hope and a wish that He will accept from us. When we raise hands to Him and ask from Him is the first sign that He will give us what we want. Because, above all, Allah has taken us to Himself.
Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi
Grand Mufti
